You Can:
Change the barrel
Change the feedneck
Install the Expansion Chamber Kit or the Low Comp Air Kit
You Cannot:
Install the double trigger kit
Install the RT Kit
Install the E-Bolt Kit
The marker reciever halves are not milled to accept the Double Trigger, RT, or E-Bolt, but you can send the marker to tippmann and they will mill them and install the parts for you if you so choose to add them.
My advice is if you have not opened the package yet, i'd take it back and get the 98 Custom and save yourself trouble down the road.
Here's a pic showing the difference in the milling in the reciever halves. The vertical adapter is what you would install for either an expansion chamber or for the low comp air kit.

OR....
you could just buy 98 Custom reciever halves and move all the internals over.
You can find the reciever havles at countypaintball.com here:

m98 trigger wouldnt work in a 98c shell (i think)
You CAN get a double trigger and ebolt for m98 btw, 888paintball carries a double for the model98 with guard. For an ebolt, i think tippmann will install it for you cuz it requires some mods (i know bsi had instructions for drilling and installing their ebolt on a m98)

beetle boy...silencing the bolt is useless cause the marker itself from the air is still gonna be loud...so who cares bout a quiet bolt. what you should really do first with you tippy is play with it to see if it fits you and you might realize that you dont need to get anything for it. or vice versa and youd want everything for it. its all personal opinion. for the barrel matter...take it over to the barrel forums where you coukd get more info there...plus theres the reviews.

Hmm...yea there must be some company out there that makes a response trigger for the M98. And i couldnt return it cause i already shot it. I didnt think there was a huge difference between the Custom and the M98. But yea today i ordered a LCP system. And a pure energy regulator and remote package. Im gonna get the stock next week.

but theres still the pinging you get out of the tank, and the sear spring making its own little noise too. all efforts to try to silent the 98c is almost useless cause there will most likely be another thing giving off some kind of noise. why would you care if its silent anyways?

Maybe a revvy(agitated electronic hopper). This will keep you from having to shake your gun when the balls get stuck in the hopper. Otherwise save it for paint or a better gun down the road. The best feature of the 98c is its reliability;putting too many upgrades on it will reduce that reliability without increasing your performance that much. Whatever you do, do not get the RT for it.
1 New barrel (not a flatline especially for a begginner)(jj 14in will be fine)
2 remote or antisyphon kit on co2 tank
3 agitated hopper
4 Double trigger maybe
5 rocket cock maybe
Thats pretty much all you should ever do to a 98 or 98 custom. Stick to that and you will have a reliable no-nonsense rec-ball gun.

When it comes to a stock, it all depends on what you plan on doing with your marker. Are you going to play more woodsball, or speedball? My personal experience is that stocks are great for woodsball, but not so good for speedball.
The second thing with stocks is what kind to get, Solid, Car, or Folding. Solid stocks are always extended, Car stocks are from 8"-14" fully extended, and folding stocks go from 1" folded up to 14" extended depending on which one you get. Alot of people will also choose a stock based on its looks.
Me personally, I went with the JCS Combat folding stock because it extends to over 14" but when folded up along side the marker its only sticks out 1" from the rear of the Reciever, so if you need to crouch into a tight spot, you can.
Anti Syphon is a tube that is installed inside your CO2 Tank to keep Liquid CO2 from escaping the tank, thus increasing your accuracy with CO2. Many people choose to do this instead of getting an X-Chamber installed on their marker.
If you plan on doing this, make sure you get a qualified airsmith to do it. Many people do it themselves or get cheap unqualified people to do it, and risk hurting themselves and those around them if the tank valve comes unscrewed.

you bought a remote so you wont need an antisyphon kit.
I would have said not to get a remote and just put an antisyphoned 16oz co2 right on the gun, then you would have no use for a stock either. Would not have looked as cool but would have saved money and been functionally the same.

i cant play airball w/o a 16 inch barrel. theres nothing wrong with 16 inch barrels. it all depends what you play.

Also a 16 in barrel can be useful for sticking through bushes(soft cover) so you can get a shot off while remaining concealed (for woodsball). It's just that a 16in barrel will be no more accurate than a 14in and will be harder to manuever.
