Hey guys,

I got an LPK for christmas (for the A-5), so I bought a regulator off eBay to complete the kit. The one I thought I was getting was the Tippmann techline because that was the one that was pictured, but I ended up getting a different Tippmann regulator (it's just called the "In-Line Vertical regulator" and it has Tippmann Proshop written on the top, so I know it's a GTA product). I was a little disheartened because according to the manual, it's output range is between 400 and 850 PSI. So I e-mailed the seller, asked him about it, and he said he's going to call Tippmann to find out.

Anyway, what happened was I accidently dropped the regulator on the floor (carpeted, but not soft carpeting) and now whenever I shake the reg lightly, it sounds like something is rolling around or rattling inside. I can't recall whether it made the same noise before, so is this normal, or do you think I broke something?

Thanks guys,

Luke

I dont think droping it would do anything. And I wouldn't take it apart because it doesn't sound like you know what you're doing. And why were you disappointed with the output pressure of the reg? you can still lower it to 400 psi.

No need to sound condescending... I asked for help, not ridicule... if you're going to snap at me, don't bother wasting your time...

And I don't want 400 PSI because 300 sounds a little better to me, yes? My goal here is peak performance with a Flatline, which means the lower the pressure, the better. I've gotten different figures from different sources, but I'm sure the techline CAN be lowered to at least 300 PSI, so that's why I'm asking. If you could answer that question, I would appreciate it.

The reg should be fine. Moved to Tippmann.
