I have no idea what an board tray is so could someone tell me?:confused:

its a tray inside the gun for the noid instead of tyhe electronics being in the trigger frame.

tray=noid in gun body
no tray= noid in trigger frame

Like infamous said, it just holds the solenoid on a lot of electros.
