allright ive read all about how the intimidator can use c02, but how nitro is so much better, however im gonna be stuck using c02 for a while(at least another several months, friends and i are pooling together to get all the stuff so we can fill our own nitro eventually)
so the question is, how much shootdown will i have in cool weather using a timmi' with a remote and a palmer stabalizer?
thanks guys

if i were you i wouldnt worry about shootdown, or anythign other than your marker getting totally trashed... If your going to run CO2 on your gun, a palmer is a good choice, but is your tank anti siphon? it needs to be or your going to thrash your selenoids, and in that case, your going to be using anti siphon, with a remote going to it and the tank on your back, your going to be in alot of positions that are going to feed liquidized CO2 directly to yoru gun, and also directly to those selenoids. if i were you i would just save up 150 and get a nitro tank. ohhwell, good luck

thanks for the advice, one thing though, i thought that running anti siphon and remote together cancelled out the effect of running antisiphon, or is that just a myth?

its not a myth, i said if you use both your gun is gonna get messed up. do not mix anti siphon, and remotes. really, just go with nitro, you will bemuch better off, i am sure you can find a used 68/4500 nitro tank for 100 if you look around the trade forums and ebay and crap

welll like i said, i cant really, theres no ability to fill up nitro in my area, were going to get nitro filling equipment eventually, but not for a while, hence why i have to use co2
Run the remote! It may save the markers life! Also.. get the palmer stabelizer! It works great with co2. It wont let any co2 into the marker. When you do get the HPA tank... the Plamers will work great with it too. It will also work really good should you ever do the LP mod. I used to have one on my Timmi.. it was really consistant. The only reason I sold it was that the Plamers is a bit on the long side and it nearly scrapped my drop forward... I replaced it with the Centerflag LP in line... and this too works exceptionally well!
If you use the palmers and a remote you should be safe... good luck...

ive got the same question aid i'm going to be playing in 20-30 degree weather this winter. i'm stuck with co2 because i also dont have a place to fill it in my area and i was wondering which is the best choice..
1) Palmers Stabilizer with Anti-Siphon Co2
2) Female Stabilizer running into stock reg using Anti Siphon Co2
3) Stabilizer with Remote Co2
4) Female Stabilizer running into stock reg using Anti Siphon Co2
5) Dont get the timmy because its a sweet gun buy your going to screw it up completely using Co2
