Just a few quick Questions...

I am thinking about getting an Impulse and I just had a few questions:

1. What is a VFF? I hear everyone talking about them but what do they do?

2. Is the Vision eye worth the extra money?

3. And finally, should I get a whole new trigger frame or just a new trigger, what is the advantage of a new trigger frame?

I can only help ya (at this point in time) with one of these. Cause I haven't made the mods yet for the other two (oh believe me I will!)
1)The VFF is the VooDoo Full Flow, it allows gas to flow unrestricted to cycle the bolt/valve system and increase the operations of your Imp (on Killers wish list of upgrades)

2)Vision Eye, This is an electronic sensor (or eye) which tells the gun if a ball is in place or not. If it is the marker fires. If it isn't the marker won't. The advantage to this would be No chopping. I for one don't have a vision, I've never ever chopped yet knock on wood (as I tap my head lightly) So I'm not in a big hurry to get one. However if you're gonna be a big tourny player I'd say Do It!

3) Triggers and Frames. Did it! Done it! Do It!! Having a good trigger and a comfortable frame can make a HUGE difference in the way your marker feels and shoots! Try it you'll like it! I'm a WERM believer! I've got a Werm Frame and trigger(on my Shocker) as well as just a trigger one one of my Imps. FOM's son (Walt) did the other trigger job (on my other Impy) and all I can say is WOW! Do it! Do It now!

I can try the first two:

1. Kat explained what it does... I have seen a gun before and after the mod and yes it's worth it. It eliminates the bolt stuck problem and helps the first shot being too low, which in my case is crucial. For only something like 40-45 bucks or whatever it is, it's worth it.

2. Vision? I LOVE mine... but again different opinions on this topic, it was worth 150 bucks to me, no questions about it. I bought Vision and Freak at the same time so I didn't have to debate later about it. Again it comes down to which position you play at, I play front so shooting at weird angles is what I do.... Vision is there to make sure I release a shot every time and not chop the ball. If you play rec or back player and short on cash, I guess get regular gun. But if you can sell your plasma, mow the lawns and clean snow for extra 150 bucks... I'd say do the Vision now and forget about it :)
