Problem with Impulse

Hi, I have a problem with my Impulse. I've tryed to fix it, but no success. The problem is, when I charge the gun up with co2 and turn the gun on, the gun fires, but the bolt does'nt move and barely any CO2 comes out.

There are a whole bunch of possible answers here, so try doing this in the order i give them.

First remove the pull pin and take out the bolt.

Examine the o-rings and make sure they are greesed. the o-ring sould just barely show above the slot in the bolt. We have had a number of guns that have come in with tank o-ring on the bolt- you CAN NOT use tank o-ring on the impulse bolt.

Slowly turn on the gas. now check the pressure. we want it at "180". now put the bolt back in WITH THE BIG HOLE DOWN. Insert the bolt pin-- the bolt should be at the farest back possition. after you put the pin in-try to push the pin/bolt forward. If it is in right, the bolt will not move.

OK- now put a barrel condom on the barrel and turn the gun on- watch the lights Do they go amber then green them out? If the light stays on or blinks, replace the batteriey with a fresh one.

with the condom pulled very tight, fire the gun. If you get a sick sound and very little movemet in the bolt. Or if you get a nice loud bang and the bolt sticks a little (and maybe hisses) we need a very small screw driver (blade type) the little screw drivers to work on glasses is normaly perfect.

now there is a port on the grip frame (on the righ side of the gun) above the trigger. in the port near the back, you will see a little pot with a small white screw head. Gently turn that screw head all the way to the right (clockwise)-- don't turn it hard we don't want break it. After turning all the way clockwise, turn counter clockwise about 1/4 turn.

Remember we MUST have an barrel condon tightly on the barrel. now try firing agian .

this is the hardest part, because I can describe the sound in words. you will fire and adjust the pot where you wnat to get it, is thepoint where you get a nice sharp pop, but there is no pause. If you turn too far conterclockwise. you will hear the gun fire, the a small pause before it recycles.

This get you VERY CLOSE on your dwell setting. the last step is to shoot paint over a chrno and adjust the dwell pot until you ge about 280 fps at 180 psi.
