ball detent

i recently purchased a 2004 BKO and was wondering about buying a new detent. I'd like to order off of gear because my friends and i have free shipping if we get up to 100 dollars so will any other brand of ball detent work for BKOs since gear doesnt sell any? Perhaps the impulse detent is the same?

04 BKO's use o-ring detents, so you cant put in an aftermarket detent.

Impulses use cocker detents so they wouldnt fit a BKO.

You can put in a aftermarket detent. It is called the Eclipse Fangs!!!

You however dont want the entire assembly you want the replacement fangs. This will replace your oring and is a little stiffer than the oring that is used in your BKO.
