Where would you rather see the colors?

I have been to games where everyone wore armbands and ones where they taped the hoppers up. Which do you prefer?

I understand ya can't have both, But hey I had to try right? I guess I'd go with hoppers, I've seen guys turn their shoulders away so you can't tell what their arm band is! Those are the guys I shoot first and ask questions later too! With a hopper if ya see it coming up in your direction ,You've already got a pretty good idea you had better take cover and start slinging some paint in that guys direction! :eek:

Ive never heard of hoppers b4 but armbands really blow in a late game elimination game where people start to end up all over the filed and when someone from the other team gets behind you you dont know whether to pop them or not cuz the band is blocked from view.

Thats not a bad idea at all. I'm not a big believer of camo even in the woods. As long as its a speedball game, wearing a really bright color like that wouldn't change the game at all IMO.

I prefer hoppers but in when you play in the woods it gives you away some times.

I HAVE to put mine on my hopper cuz my field uses that crappy "colored tape" type stuff, and when it's on my arm it always manages to slide down to my wrist and eventually falls off. :|

i think the feild should have sets of mask and the mask should be different colors (black and green) this would be alot better ... what does everybody else think

That would be gross. Think of all the other people who would have worn those masks, sweating and breathing into them. :eek: I would never wear one of those things.

They get cleaned! Ive cleaned enough of them at the site i work at.

Coloured masks are a good idea, maybe a field could fork out for some nVaders or nforcers with those pods and have different coloured pods.

Either both or just arm. At scenarios I've been to I sometimes just use my PT Xtreme which has no hopper. And what about stock gun player? they can't use hopper bands either. I know I am speaking of the minority, but, hey, the minority counts too.

I've only ever seen the tape on the arms, but I like the hopper idea. I think both arms should be marked, since I have shot at and have been shot by people when the arm with the band is facing away from the shooter.

I'm a woods player, and I wear a ghillie...I camoed my hopper for a reason...it's the easiest thing to see. I prefer the armbands...not as obvious. What's the fun in wearing a ghillie suit if ya have a bright hopper sticking out of your position?

But I think ghillie suits are the dumbest things ever. They cost a good 200 bucks for a nice one and when your playing paintball...Its NOT the end of the world if your seen! Why cover up and wait on the ground for :boring: :boring: :boring: :boring:. I think that kind of misses the point of the game and turns it into more of a war game...but whatever floadts your boat. I actually think that having the tape on the side of you mask is a better idea. At our field, we like to play Alien, and you have to switch teams frequently. And in an Alien game, you have to be able to pull your tape off quickly, so it is easier to have your color band under the srap on your mask.

200 bucks for a nice one? youve been being ripped off my friend built one for 50 that he got an offer for 800 from some wannabe marine....mine costed 50 (pre made) and its not as good as my friends (hes got a burlap ghillie mine is like a thin rubber cape cut up in alot of places in the shape of leaves)

sure his works better closer but i cant be seen after 50ft and if im setup like a bush ive had ppl walk withing 25ft of me....deffinetly worth the money

if your field had their own masks with seperate colors they would be pretty crappy masks
