all right guys..wondering if there is that big of a diffrence in getting the vision impulse to the stock impulse....theres about 300$ diffrence in the 2 types and was wondering if the vision is worth the extra money....ppl with stock impys..do u guys chop lots of balls??????if there isnt much of a diffrence id like to upgrade the barrel instead of having the vision.

personally i think its not worth it, i say just get a new barren. then u should upgrade to lower pressure parts that way you will reduce your risk of chopping a ball.

Ive had my impy for like 6 months and have played over 10 times with it and have NEVER chopped a ball or had the bolt stick. From the few people i know who have the vision they say they do not like it. Its a pain having your gun skip because theres no ball in the chamber. Half the pople i know rather splurt lots of paint than none at all.

I think this was asked once before...

First, when buying a new gun, the Vision upgrade is only $150-- not $300

Do you need it? depends on your play. if you play rec or paly turnies and only play back-- most likely no - you don't need it.

If you play Speed ball esp if you are a front man or very aggressive- then "YES" because it can mean the difference between winning and loosing a game. Why the difference? Well If you are able to hold your gun upright with the hopper over the gun- chances are you won't chop. But a front man or very agressive player are NOT in a possition to keep the hopper directly over the gun. Is not weather the GUN chops, its more weather you can keep the hopper in a possition so it will feed at max rate.

My friend got his gun about 3 months ago. He got fully loaded (full of upgrades) except the Vision. Then, about 2 weeks ago I got mine, exactly the same gun, except with Vision. Well, comparing our guns, he had 4 chops already, me playing 3 times with the gun already, I had 0. He plays back mostly and still chopped, because he shoots fast. I play crazy front positions and shooting the gun holding it horizontally. So like FOM said, it's up to you and your playing style. $150 bucks was worth it for me, to escape frustration of broken ball in the chamber. But barrel upgrade is good too, I assume you want Freak. Hope this helps.

are 4 broken balls really worth $150? with $150 you can get nitro. or a freak set.

200 for freak, unless you get used
And yup, 150 bucks is worth it for me....again it's a personal choice
