Alright guys. I'm going to play some woodsball with my friends next week, and the field is closed down right now. What is the best WalMart paint with .689 bore size?

personally, i wouldn't ever get paint at walmart but that's mostly for ethical reasons.
to answer your question, any of the rps paint (premium, super swirl, big ball). still not any good but good for wally world.

Rps paint is good in general, however, since wal-mart doesn't control how well the paint is stored it usually ends ups like crap.

I remember Jaster saying that he knows that paint from Walmart is almost always months old, I think someone in his family works there, but I'm not sure.
Anyway, go with RPS, if you have to buy from Walmart.

Yes, I HAVE to, or trust me, I would never buy paint from Wal-Mart. Fortunately for me they just opened the 3rd(!!!) one in my town three weeks ago, so maybe the paint's in good condition.

Got with RPS BigBall from Wal-Mart, I work at walmart so I get to buy fresh paint right when it gets in, and for a discount.:D The paint is stored until they need to restock so it's hard to tell if it's good or not.

We have found (thru empty containers left at the field) that the paint from them tends to be 1-8 months old.
You better off buying fresh paint from your local proshop..
Hell The Sports Authority gets fresh paint every 1.5 months.
If you let your paint sit around for a while a number of things can happen.
A) You get one giant paint "turd"
B) The shells get very weak/brittle
C) Swelling
D) Shell Decomp.
And asking the manager of the sports department isnt that helpful...Why? Wal-Fart orders in bulk and it arrives at their main warehouse. It is then divided and set in different areas for each Wal-Fart around the US (there are multiple warehouses around the us). Then when a Wal-Fart in your area gets low on something they call it in and the item is loaded onto a truck and shipped out to them.
So basically you dont know how long it has been sitting in the warehouse before it was shipped to your Wal-Fart.
Usually the date is on the:
A) Tag on box
B) Side/bottom of box
C) Stamped on bag inside box (higher-end paint)
D) Stamped on the order slip (when ordering direct from company. Large quantity's only)
E) In some rare cases on cheap paint it is stamped on the inside wall of the box.
Thats just from what I know about Wal-Fart....but if you must, look for any diablo paint...even diablos old cheap **** is better than most of the RPS brands...

You have 3 walmarts in your town... but no paintball proshop? Your town sucks.

I usually dont buy walmart paint anymore, but tonight i was in a bind, So i bought Superswirls. I had to return them before i left the parking lot. I opened the box and the bottoms balls were almost totally flat from shelf life. I went back in and bought Scorch which looks good, hope it shoots well.

I shot 1500 scorch today and loved them. i was blown away by their performance.
i use scorch but i got to change. The field i go to doesnt let you use red or pink paint. Stains the obsticles...but scorch i think works really well. I hate wildstreak tho

red or pink paint could also be mistaken for blood, and vice-versa.

just open the boxes of paint before you buy them. take it to a real cashier (not one of those damned idiot boxes that make you do it) and let them know you are checking to make sure the product is of sufficient quality. open it and if theres broken paint or the balls are in bad shape tell them why you will not be buying them. they arent paid enough to give a crap and even if they do, they cant make you buy dammaged merchandise
repeat as necessary
good way to give you an edge over the evil corporation.
EDIT: just realized this thread is a month old - DONT DIG UP OLD THREADS UNLESS ITS SOMETHING IMPORTANT!

Blue Streak fits my J&J barrel perfectly. I love the paint cause you can get a ton for the price! They never break in my barrel either so I always use Wal Mart paint

Hey man I understand you just joined yesterday, but please check dates on old threads. This one is nearly 4 months old and more than dead.
Also for your gun set up click on the link above that says User Control Panel and edit profile. There is one space that says signature. But all your gun info in there.
edit: to be on topic Scorch seems to be the best of the poo at walmart.

I've had pretty good luck with Scorch, and if you get the case of 1,500, you get a nifty ammo box kinda thing that's great for your gear.
