Talk to his parents, and always check trader's feedback.

hmm...found some info on him. How long ago did all this take place? Might want to consider a third party next time.

Hit me up on PM, I wouldn'd mind seeing the convo log from aim or whatever. If this is, indeed, a scamming incident.. there may not be much you can do for you, but letting the communities here, at pbn and other sites know will make it less likely to happen to someone else.

dannyboy641 pm'd me with a slightly different version of what happened, which I also asked him to post here.
It would helpful to see some logs of the deal you both agreed on and/or conversation logs.
He claims the cocker you sent him was busted as well. Until there's some details about the deal you both agreed on, it's one persons word against another.

The best thing to do at this point is try to work it out over the phone or privately. If you both agreed on certain terms of the trade, and one side did not live up to those terms, then you can file mail fraud against that person.

is that a joke? because it wasn't really amusing.
since I have seen no logs or anything related to this transaction, then so be it.
But claiming that a marker setup for CO2 was damaged because someone used nitro is the weakest thing I've ever heard. And I've been around a long time.

Ive tried to call him 3 times so far , left messages but no replies.
the gun itself has many things wrong , here are a few
stripped screw holes for bolt, missing screws or wrong screws put in place of, spring release for hopper is missing thats just off the top of my head havent looked at in a month. Bottom line is you said it was a good condition gun and its far from that , let alone being a model 98 , and not even a 98custom.
i will make a more detailed list if i get a response and can take pics of the gun he sent if anyone would like to see condition
ask here
a tippmann snipper is a package deal timppmann sells that consist of a
98 custom , flatline and stock , sold as a package
would like a post here on what you are willing to do about it

chingis,
sounds like he is stalling, can you send me the logs from your conversation? If you have that proof you could file mail fraud against him.

Having owned a field/proshop for a long time I have had my fair share of fraudulent trades/purchases..
Overtime I have had about twelve total bad traders try to scam me..out of that total only one has yet to repay or ship the gear to me...most of these purchases were thru eBay though..
So anyways, I have a phone number of a fellow who handles mail fraud (FBI) that I have delt with in the past, and for some odd reason I know his son...imagine that. SO long story short if you want to shoot me the Name/Address/Phone Number of this person along with the e-mails I will give him a call and give him all of the info...Usually it takes about a month for him to get back to me and it takes about two months to get the gear/money back...
So if you want this taken care of PM me...depending on the seller (it seems it is a young kid) the punishment will range from jail time (Juvee and then to federal after he hits 18) to a large fine....if he is living with his parents (which is likely) they can be held partially responsible as well and can face charges ranging from jail time to fines....
Feel free to PM me if interested.
Also where was the marker shipped to (state)?
