OK, I usually play rec ball at about 300(Spyder) - 280(Imp now) fps, so when I got my Imp I set the gun at that speed, well it was preset already (Thanks FOM), so I didn't have to mess with the dwell at all. So then I went to the indoor field a few times and they require you to shoot no more than 250fps. So the only way I knew of how to adjust the fps was by bottom part of the reg. It worked well, but then I just read a post by FOM saying that lower reg preasure will eat up much more gas, in which it was my case. So...... HOW exactly do I adjust the fps and save gas at the same time? Please be specific, I hate messing with dwell and send a gun back to FOM :|

Thanks

What FOM meant was if you lower your input pressure you will have to increase your dwell to maintain that 280 fps that's when you start eating air! Just dropping input pressure shouldn't chew up any extra gas.

Do you realize that KAT actuly made a long distance call to verify the info he gave you?-- That is dedication!

The issue is running the gun at say 130 psi to get 300 fps-- this requires a LOT of dwell and dumps a lot of gas

If you have the gun set up for 180psi/ 280 fps and crank the pressure back to get the gun down to say 250-- that is NOT a problem--you will use slightly less gas then you were using at 280 fps.

Thanks Kat!
