Chrono for Sentinal TS

I'm interested in buying a Sentinal TS as my first marker because I've heard so many good things... BUT... I've heard one bad thing about it. I heard that it will not shoot any slower than 300. Is that true? How can I correct this problem if I do buy it.
The field I play at strictly enforces 260 or lower.

That is not true. There is a screw in the front you can use to adjust the velocity. And at worst case you can use another spring or cut the spring.
