ok, ive been looking for mods that can be done to the ram to make it higher flowing and faster cycleing.....ive seen some light hammers like RaGeD P1NGA's (http://www.pbreview.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&%20postid=2435211#post2435211) that looked pretty good and i see vapor has one on their site....

I was planning on a new lpr, valve, and bolt, and in the process i wanted to geta lighter hammer to reduce kick...if it would help.

it does reduce kick as I have had this mod done. Because of the lighter hammer though I was forced to run at a higher dwell (was running at 6) and my LPR pressure needed to be increased as well.

Yoda, did you also have the ram ported and polsihed? supposedly Vapor's porting and polishing makes it so that you dont have to increase dwell or LPR pressure despite having the lighter hammer.

If you have a drill press you can port your ram housing, it'll give you higher flow and lower your LPR pressure. www.icd-owners.com has a walkthru

ported like crazy along with polishing so shiny it was almost blinding. It was very well done but yet still i had to increase my LPR pressure a bit

well, did it have an effect on efficency if u had to increase your lpr? What about lighter springs....i have spring kit for my spyder and it has some springs that seem to fit the valve very well....im experimenting with thoes.....And the ram spring....is it even needed?
