if your price range is 60 dollars, you might wanna rethink playing paintball before making more money. A case of paint alone is usually like 50 bucks for decent paint, and upgrade parts cost a lot in paintball (a lot of the time, more than 60 bucks for some important upgrades) How much are you making? cuz something like 10 a month isnt enough to play very much paintball. Nice beginner guns are the tippmanns (mostly for woods, easy maintenance, low maintenance, extremely durable and reliable) and spyders (shoot much faster than tippmanns, less durable and reliable, better values. The CP is a nice barrel for a nice price, and the J&J is a nice one too for around the same low price. Very good choice. Just one thing, barrels are most efficient on air(shooting a higher fps to psi ratio) and accurate at 12 inches. 14 inches is nice if you want more length without really hurting ur efficiency. All barrels and guns have the same range at the same velocities, except for the tippmann flatlines.

most all paintball guns are 68 caliber (at least the non-obsolete ones not from many years ago which they dont make anymore) Caliber varies slightly within the 68 range (.689, .688, ect) A good medium bore is .688, and will shoot most paints good (different types of paints have a little variance on size too, and a good paint to barrel match is important. A paintball put in ur barrel should not roll thru, or get stuck when you try to blow it out, but stick inside, and blow out easily.
