turbo valve

Well, i just ordered a turbo valve for my old g1 piranha. It didnt come with anything, just a plain metal valve. Anyways, the set screw for the stock valve seems to go in too far and i can see it in the hole looiking through the body of the gun. Is this normal or is there a different set screw for the turbo valve? If not, what should i do?

The turbo valve will come with a new longer set screw so you have nothing to worry about.
