Need Some Help With My Upcoming Purchase

Well i have finnaly come across some money and i have narrowed it down to two guns, The Rat LTD with WAS wich runs $725.00
And the Shocker Base 2004 wich runs $750.00

If i get the base shocker i would prolly put vision in it later on and the price for vision is cheap so it would be within a couple months.,

personally i would take the was'd rat they rip, i am not that big of a fan of shockers

Ok, they do look pretty sweet and i've seen the vids, it's jsut that they don't seem That fast...
fast but not as fast as a timmy or shocker or angel you know what i mean, it's impressive but only for an impulse

me i like shockers, I think they are as good as timmys but alittle lighter and cheaper i would go with the shocker, just me though alot of it is preference

I'd take the Shocker. Smaller, lighter, and more compact. They both shoot faster than you can, so speed dosen't really matter. But get Vision ASAP.

If you get an shocker, I would recommend the HE bolt kit, that is if you don't enjoy refilling your tank after every game.

First I'll answer my opinion on which of those guns i would want, the shocker, and my first upgrades would be HE bolt kit and vision. Now FYI 2k2 timmys are $749, they all come with eyes and they rip just as fast, if not faster than the guns you are deciding on, plus if you buy them at:

you get some free ram upgrades with it, a new ram and a ram adjuster i think. Anyways im not sure if you want a timmy, but if you do the 2k2 is a good one, has lcd screen and eyes for a VERY good price.

888paintball used to have 2k2's for 600$ until they ran out and stopped stocking. 750 isnt a great price.

I'd say the WAS'd rat. I don't see how you don't think they're as fast as a timmy, because both the board and cycling speeds are beyond humanly possible. And a WAS'd rat is faster than a shocker.

Rats are dead sexy and fast. They're big, but so are all impulses and even angels. If you want small, get a used Alias for like 800-850$, since theyre 1100 new now..

well i can understand him saying the rat isn't as fast.
for example...
A fenix shoots 14 bps, and an omen shoots 15 bps, the two guns are almost equally capped.
However you more likely going to be able to shoot the max bps on the omen than the fenix, the trigger sensitivity and easy walking is different on every gun, i've shot timmy's, spyders, piranhas, omens, tes, autocockers, and BKO'S, out of them all i was able to shoot the fastest on the ECX timmy, second fasest on the bko and third on the omen.

true. all high end guns are faster than they need to be. its mostly feel. when somebody rips faster with one gun than they do on another its just cause they like feel of the gun more.

exactly i can rip on my friends ecx faster than my was'd impulse. i would go with a 2k2,ecx or shocker. dont spend it right away tho look around and look at your options for a while and find a gun you will stick with for a long time.
