New Diablo Lineup

Has anyone noticed that the new Diablo guns are the same things as the Odyssey guns.(Is Diable related with Odyssey like Spyder and Raven?) Why can't companies come up w/ their own designs?

No they are in no way related as far as I know. And companies can come up with their own designs. It's just cheaper and easier to tweak on someone elses. Like Orr took Palmer's idea and made a big hit, companies are probably looking for the same effect.

That's tru but still they took the design for every gun except for the O3E. Odyssey will prob loose some business now. Maybe it'll be like the whole WGP sewing b/c of the drallion.

And what Odyssey suing Diablo? I doubt it. But I've heard talk of a new like of markers from Dragun, wonder if those will be similar to the old designs.

I'm pretty sure that both odyssey and diablo are a part of the NPS or w/e it is called. For instance look at the name of Diablo's new loader. The Diablo TSA and Odyssey's Halo TSA. They couldnt get away with that unless they were under the same corporation.

those last posts were my bro on my accounts and he doesn't know what he's talking about. Diablo guns were being made by a company somewhere. then they switched and are now being made in Taiwan. along with odyssey and dragun. the manufacturers probably just stole the same ideas from odyssey. And the gun that looks like the 03m will never be produced because Worr Games will just sew them. And odyssey will not loose business because they have a better rep than diablo.

Odyssey is also working with Smart Parts too, so it wont be a surprise when SP or Odyssey comes out with new guns besides the Ion

This is mostly old info and a bit of speculation

but as far as i can tell the Taiwan based company that made and marketed the Dragun line also makes guns for a dozen other companys out there (obvious visible similaritys and i spoke with a number of knowledgeble people a while back who confirmed this). Dragun was the only line the company tryed to keeps as in house and market them selves.

the wraths look so much like a tes, because the wrath is made by dragun, the peeps that made the tes. they signed contracts with nps, and several other large companies to make markers for those companies. the wrath is just the first one to really get noticed out on the market.
dragun is no longer making their own markers, so they are making their money by making them for other people.

I'd heard something about nps buying out odyssey. that thought kinda scares me.

if what you guys said is true, i think diablos guns will flop just because they are F-ugly and odyssey's better

SP might make a "FAZOR" type high quality gun

and dragun is gonna either break off and try it on their own or continue making guns for others

hate to say it but Odyssey knows how to advertise and make their guns look good, dragun imo doesn't

For example what gun is featured in Greg Hastings Tournament Paintball ... O3, what gun was advertised in Magazines... the O3
and odyssey is still considered the best loader company by most of the paintball community, every noob wants the cool gun by the best loader company

knowing how sp is, for all we know SP may own everything and just like making us confused

i may have to switch companies maybe for someone more consistent

I hope that they do break off and start putting their own markers back onto the market. and HOPEFULLY show a lot better support to their customers. And pull their heads outta their tails and learn some marketing skills.

it might look the same, but not quite
that one is AUTOCOCKER thread, where the tes/tes1/torid is SPYDER thread.

Dragun has the contract with NPS for the Wrath. If odyssey is actually producing some of them, then the two companies havent broken ALL ties to each other.

I mean it seems like there are more dragun knockoff's out there than spyder clones they just need to run it right
plus those o rings really don't suck that bad i had the stock o rings on my gun for 6 months before i had to replace any of them

sometimes it just depends, with those o-rings. like on what kind of air you are using, and if you a taking care of them. I havent had any probs with mine yet, but I still wish that dragun would put a better o-ring in their newer lines, or if they start manufacturing their regular lines again, to go with different o-rings.

I heard that Dragun is manufacturing other companies markers and the wrath looks nothing like the one or tes....wat the hell is wrong with u guys???:crazy:
