ok, the time has come, its now time for me to look into the Angel, like so many have.
Ive owned a spyder, cocker, intimidator, and now looking to go Angel.
At this point i really dont know much about them and i need you guys to tell me the basic ups and downs of the marker.
This is what i know, there real quiet cuz there enclosed bolt, which also means that no dirt gets into the bolt area. They have basically no kick at all, and there real easy to clean up and maintance.
The reason im stepping off of the timmy is cuz it kicks to much for me and its also loud, so it affects ur accuracy and ur hearing postions being called and what not.
so see what you can do to help me out
Thanks,
Eric

I played a few games with my friend's 2k LCD today. It had like no kick (nothing at all), was really quiet, shot real fast, and makes you feel like a million bucks. I dont really think there is a down except for the price. He got about 800 off a 3000 psi fill on his max flow so im guessing on a preset at 4.5 you would get 1000 maybe a bit less. He never had it break since he got it in christmas of 99. While the gun is fine out of the box you can add stuff such as a low rise, breech knobs and backplates, new bolts, new barrels, new triggers, and frames......... it goes on and on. KEEP THE STOCK REG it is good
hope that helped

if you are rilly dont want any kick back go with a matrix it is closed bolt. The angel is open bolt not closed bolt but i may be wrong.

Man the angel has no kick at all. It is closed bolt in the sense that the bolt is insider the gun unlike most guns. However its open bolt in the fact that it fires while the bolt is moving

well the matrix runs at about 80psi it has virtualy no kick back at all. The angel has very little kick back 2 though.
A damn fool

Going from intimidator to angel is gonna be like heaven. First off, no kick back, and the intimidator has a hell of a lot. 2nd is maintance. The intimidator reguires a hell o a lot of maintence, with the regs, piston, bolt, and all the other internals you have to grease up, while the angel requires 2 dros of oil every 4000 shots. 3rd, a lot of peoplw know about the angel if you have a problem. I bourhgt my intimidator to my local pro shop when it first broke, and they looked at like theyve never seen it before. Everyone knows how to fix an angel, and they dont break every any ways.

a damn fool hit that nail right on the head i love my angel. and ive seen all the problems that he has had with his timmy. it breaks all the time and ive played with it b4 its got major kick. i asked some ppl about the maintinece of an angle all they told me to do is nothing i mean yea that drop of oil helps but isnt neccsary. angels are some of the lowest maintinece guns ever. you will love it. i dont know about other ppl but i get about 850 out of a 3000 fill

Matrices are not closed bolt guns. They might fire from a closed bolt position, but they rest in a open bolt postition.

I have a ques, if you buy any Angel lets say the 2002, is there any need to upgrade when another Angel comes out say along the line of 2004? I mean would the gun bought in 2002 compete with more advanced Angels being produced. I mean what else can be done to improve the Angel?

Yes, matrices are open bolt guns. No gun fires from an open bolt position.
