The VF OR the PF would be in the way, right? It is with my compact and it looks like when I get my Pro TS it will be the same problem. Wouldn't the dot just go right into the VF/PF?

In a powerfeed marker the sight will work cause the powerfeed isnt in the the way. In a Vertical feed marker if you have a red dot sight if you look at it you will be able to see it with your other eye..kinda hard to explain..

You have to keep both eyes open and you will see the dot on the target. It is weird.

Use your x-ray vision powers.

If you have a vertical feed, you'll need a good dot sight, like the Dye Izon Red Dot Sight and the Armson Pro Dot Sight.
If you see the reviews for the Dye Izon Red Dot Sight or the Armson Pro Dot Sight, some of the reviews explain how to use them.
I've copied some things from the reviews here anyway.

The Armson Prodot sight is the king of optical illusion sights. One eye sees a black circle with the red dot in the middle. The other eye sees the target and when you're brain puts it all together you see you're target with a dot on it.
[Armson Prodot Sight Review]

This sight gives you the appearance of a red dot on your target. You aim with both eyes open, one eye looking through the site and the other looking at your target, and you'll see a red dot on your target. The sight is adjustable and it requires no batteries.

I suggest you read the reviews, just in case.

As an alternative you could checkout the Adco HotShot reddot sight. It's guaranteed against breaking from a paintball.

You should be able to get it for less than $29 from any paintball shop.

Check out PBreview.com for the reviews.
