well, first off, there is no true sniping in paintball, Secondly, a boomstick would be a bad investment for a tippmann, eventually you will buy a new better gun and youll have a $100+ barrel that you wont know what to do with...

if your a "sniper" than get the flatline. go to warpig.com and look for the artical about the flatline.

first..i don't really mean "sniping" that way, i must have typed it wrong..but anyways.... i think u got it mixed up there buddy...since u can only use the flatline on the tippmann....if i do decide to get a different gun..umm i don't think the flatline will work on it and then i will have the flatline just laying around..thats what i understand but i may be wrong...hey...everyone makes mistakes

I was talkin about the Boomstick not the flatline. at any rate, its not such a great idea to spend so much on a barrel for a mid grade gun. i would suggest a j&j ceramic, they are very accurate, and shoot clean after a break, just my $.02

just get a cp, 40 bucks. no need for a 120 dollar barrel (boomstick) for your 120 dollar gun.

and DONT get the flatline you will be sorry.

Hey there. They say that the Flatline shoots real far but if the alignment isnt correct, like say the barrel is tilted a lil to the left or right then your screwed. Hard to clean with shround etc etc. If you wanna squeegie, you gotta unbolt the damn thing from the gun. I'd say no to a boomstick and I agree with whats his name about the barrel costing almost as much as the gun. Its just not worth it. I had a J&J Ceramic for my old Spyder and it was super for only 40 bucks. They say that it cleans itself out after a ball break but I say thats a lie. Other then that, I'd go with a J&J Ceramic. Also, if you are into bigger barrels, TASO makes a 20" barrel called the Stone Cold II. My friend had that for his tippmann and it shot straight as an arrow. The barrel costs about 60 bucks. Both are nice barrels. Hope this helps. Later.
