Does anyone here use walkie talkies when paintballing?

Nope.
The only time radios are usually used are in senario or big games.

the fields I play on allow radios, I've only seen a couple of people use them, and they cheated like crazy. If one was called out, he'd circle the field and radio the opposing players' positions to his buddy. Refs wouldn't intervene "just try to shoot both of them."

I have these radios that all you have to do is put this thing in your ear (and there is the cord from it that goes down to the unit) and it can pick up your voice from it. Its pretty sweet when you put it on voice activated because no one can even tell you are using it!
I have never used them for paintballing though...

I have a couple Talkabouts that I have used before in large wooded fields. They are not allowed in tournament play. I used the voice activated things andrew was talking about, but I found that when I was shooting (a cocker at the time) that the sound of the gun was activating the radio and it was useless.
