do you need an airsmith to install the low pressure kit, ebolt, reactive trigger, or expansion chamber?i have a custom, and im starting my customizing process on it, and wondered if i could do it myself before buying upgrades. and what is more worth it, the reactive trigger that is only 80 or so dollars, or the ebolt wich i know is over 200 i believe, i want one or the other, but if i get the ebolt, i will be saving for a long time.

You do not need an airsmith because this is the custom, the whole point of it is that it is easily upgradable. The only thing that may need professional installation is the RT trigger.

As for the E-Bolt or RT, its preference. The RT allows a great ROF for a low cost, but the E-Bolt is most definately better. I'd get the RT if I were you, since its not really worth it to get the Ebolt (unless your gun is tricked out and you dont' want to sell it while at the same time competing with electros)

When you install the RT trigger don't you have to cut out some of the metal. I know theres already a space inside the grip frame. I've seen a pic of a gun with an RT trigger, and theres little tuning instruments sticking out of the right side of the gun. I looked on my 98c and there were little indintations on the side where the RT tuning handles should be but there was still metal there. I'm guessing you have to cut out the metal in order to install it. Am I right?

Oh, freek133, you don't have to have an airsmith install a X-chamber. You can if you want to, I installed mine myself.

If you have a classic you have to send it to Tippmann to be milled. If you've got a custom you can just drop it in.
