what's the approx. maximum rate of fire of the response trigger?

14-18bps without mods. You need to have a hopper that can keep up. Halob or reloaderb for 98c or cyclone for A5. Anything less will chop at full ROF

I tried one with and without a power feed and it chopped. If you turn it way down, it will work, but you may as well turn it off at that point.

if you running co2 you need to shoot in bursts anyway or else it will start choping i find, so i recommend Hpa + force feed, and if you buy a forcefeed like an eggy of halo you can always keep it if you ever upgrade to a better gun.

By powerfeed I meant the profeed brand elbow which replaces the angled elbow that comes on a 98c. You find powerfeeds on spyders a lot unless they have centerfeed. It doesnt actually use any "power"

I put that on and a revvy (12v revolution)and chopped with the RT unless I turned it way down.

I would get a View Loader Evolution II hopper. (better know as the "egg"). That should do just fine.

Well...... I aagree with some of ur guys replies. First of all the RS gets about 17 bps. Now there is a very easy trigger mod, which i have done, that will increase it to about 19-21. This is found here

The sencond thing is the egg is not big. Sure it seams like it but once u look in the mirror at urself it actualy isnt that big. Its long but not big. The egg is by far the best hopper for the RT. Lemme tell u, i was shooting at the sewer in my backyard. WWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHWWWW. I racked of about 175 balls in about 7-8 seconds. Man! it was AWESOME! i suggest doing these things and u will get the optimun ROF. AND, your welcome.

the only way to get over like 13 bps reliably is with a force feeder like the reloader or halo b.

Balls can only drop thru the tippmann angled elbow at like 10 bps, and thru a centerfeed at like 13 bps cuz of gravity (regardless of ur non forcefed loader). TO go over 13, a warpfeed, an a5 (cyclone feed), a reloader b, halo b will go. Maybe the egg cuz i think its semi force fed, but the egg isnt too great.....:|

What I mean is that there isnt constant pressure on the balls, and for the eggy and apache, gravity still comes into play after it gets forced into the neck.

The cyclone gets around it by having only one ball between it and the breach.

I've got the RT, and it's well worth it, the rate of fire is insane, when I crank mine up to the max it outruns my RevLution II, it's insane. The ROF can be adjusted by turning the small screw on the line that feeds it on the right side of the gun. In is slower, out is faster. And you can even semi-control the ROF with the pressure of your finger on the trigger.

right, well maybe that is good enough to get around gravity, but then maybe the marker feed neck comes into play. I dont know for sure. I do know that Ive seen Espyders shooting on full auto (13bps capped) chop with an eggy2 with y board.

Im sure the eggy will be good enough with the RT even if you have to turn it down a little. Halob or reloaderb will probably double feed past the weak 98c detents anyways.

Ive heard people with revvys saying they hardly ever chop with the RT. I know that is wrong, so Im sceptical when people tell me "hopperA" works great with "rapid fire upgrade B" that doesnt have an eye or antichop bolt unless I have personally seen it work.
