I Know this is suppose to be a pistol, but how big is this thing?it would defeat the purpose of being a pistol if its the same size as a regular marker.
Is it really the same size as a tippmann a-5 w/o the barrel?Thats a pretty darn big pistol.

Yes, it is. If you go over to the picture thread, you can see for yourself. Face it, a paintball gun can only be so small, what with .68 caliber paintballs...

The pictures are good, but a better idea is this:
1 person posted a picture of a Zeus next to a tippmann without a barrel and the tippman was a little bigger.
Pistol wise, the zeus is one of the heavist ones ive used, but it hasnt given me problems like the PTX, plus the look is better.
I know the zeus is built to take some abuse, while the PTX is thinner metal I dont think I would want to use the PTX in real scenero games.

the tippmann with out its barrel cant shoot anything. therfore its not the whole marker. also the tippman is a inline blowback.. which makes it smaller top wise. the Zeus is a well made beast and shoot great.
g35thanh let me know if you are intrested in a bolt.

Check kampfer's site. The zeus is a bit bigger than an A-5 without barrel. They're both as long, but zeus is taller by quite a bit. I'll stick to the PGP, thank you very much!

well yeah its going to be taller.. its got the magazine on top instead of a hopper..
you put the gun together like its supposed to be shot then the A5 is twice as big as the zeus. add the hopper on and its 3 times bigger than the zeus.
you cant compare them if they are not in ready to shoot form.

Hmmm, how about this then
Put the stock extension barrel on the Zeus G2, with the bottomline kit plus the hopper feed adapter.
Now put the moded Zeus G2 next to an A-5. :atten:
I think the A-5 is still bigger in this comparison, but I reckon it'll be about the same size as a 98.
