Alright I am a little confused. Are you asking if you can use a 4500 psi preset tank off your standard maxflo or are you saing that you have a maxflo air system and need to get a new reg. If you want to know if ou can use the 4500psi system on your maxflo you can, no changes are necessary. If you are asking about a new reg...keep the maxflo, they work awesome.
Or are you talking about an adjustable 4500 bottle system. If so you could go for a MacDev system, an Air America Apocolypse system. Or if you want to spent a little less cash the preset pmi's work fine. Thats all I have on my shocker.
Hope this all helped. If not let men know so I can try again.
1 st yes the Pure engery tank will work just fine with the Max flo on the Impulse. the only issue MAY be if its an older style manifold , and this MAY require you shorten the pin or use the "O-ring" trick
2nd The Center Flag is the best of the screw ins. it is one of the very few screwins that can keep up with a shocker. Of course the Impulse dosen't put any where near the demands on the reg that a shocker does- so the CF will run the inpulse at any rate of fire and any dwell/bressure combos. The Center Flag 68/4500 is around $200

I went with FOM's advice on CenterFlag 68/4500 tank. I really like the tank, my friend has NitroDuck UltraLite 88/3000 on his. Our tanks are about the same weight. I tried to get the gun drop in preasure when shooting very fast, no luck. The recharge rate on HyperFlow reg on the tank is amazing. So my advice is to go with CenterFlag instead of PMI, just 20 bucks more, no biggie.
BetaBoy u tryed playing with your dewell settings???
What kind of tool you need to adjust the dewell settings???

Spec I didn't mess with dwell settings, at 180 preasure the gun shoots 280, so FOM did an excellent job adjusting it. I don't want to mess it up :)

Preset is just fine, the intake on MaxFlow can take it, you don't have to run adjusted tank. I just fill the tank and then attach, but you can do it either way. Cleaning? just wipe the tank :P
Hope this helps.
Betaboy what tool i should need to adjust the Dewell settings??
I just want to know what tool b\c it is a small thing to adjust and the dewell is located behind the rubber piece on the right side of the gun.;)

Umm since I never done it myself I am a bad advice, FOM or others might give you a hand there, but I assume a little screwdriver? Maybe the ones they use for the watches?
