DM5 for sure. Why get a fly when the g7 will be coming out soon?

DM5 will hold its re-sale longer.

DM5, much better, and not as many issues with the eyes like WDP's have.

something nasty

Neither. Why in the world would those be his choices? DM5s are less than impressive with their new trigger (that sucks, by the way), out-of-box stripped feednecks, and fragile membrane pads. Flys also have a god-awful trigger, enough kick to piss anyone off, no way of completely tearing down the marker without a special tool kit (which is not included with the gun), and let's not forget that awesome roto-breach design!

But, out of the two, I would get the DM5.

Love Dye guns, and like Fly's, but not as much as a DM5. Get a DM5

But, out of the two, I would get the DM5. Some like the DM5's trigger some hate it. A thing called personal preferance. And angels hardly kick and can have awsome triggers. The angels are hard to tear down tho.

Ok Mr. Wizard, show me issues with eyes that WDP has had.

Same hardware as every other marker...

Exactly, you can say that you don't like the feel of either of these markers, but honestly, none of them have any major problems. EyeQ is one of the best eye systems around. I've shot countless Angels, A4 Fly's included, and none of them have had eye problems.

Sometimes you can point out major flaws that markers have, such as quality control for SP markers, but in this case, I think you'd be hard pressed to find a major downside to either one of these markers.

The only downside of the DM5 is the not so stellar air efficiency, and the only downside of the fly is it's tendency to be a little rough on paint.

Boomstick? Yeah, those were good three years ago. Just a crappier, heavier Ultralite, which just so happens to come stock on the DM5.

What a cute title.

Obviously DM5. Is this really a question? DM4 even over a Fly, Fly's have the ****tiest re-sale, and so do most Angels. DM5 is a smaller DM4, lighter, shorter, and more efficient, but DM4's still pwn faces. Angels are heavy, have a crappy bolt design, have crappy efficiency, Flys have awful triggers, dumb space frame, and there's new ones every few months that kill their resale and WDP then says they're "revolutionary" and "the best."

Negative Ghostrider. DMFizzle.

Get em Rob.

WDP, get a WDP gun and you will never turn back. This is my promise to you.

Dye barrels are still one of the best barrels today.

Neither, I know a guy who could sell you a totally custom matrix, with your choice of anno and certain parts, plus you know that it is being put together, and tuned by a professional machinist that makes trixes out of scratch.

I'm not going to copme and get you, you have your opinion and I have mine. I respect your opinion, and I'd hope your respect mine that I prefer to shoot an angel. However, I did indeed say the DM4/5 is quite a nice marker, and I really wouldn't mind owning a DM5 myself, for that matter.

It all comes down to if you like the feel of the market or not, which I hate on Angels, but Rob and others know I looked HARD at 05 45 Speeds as an 05 marker for myself, but I declined and got a DM4.

When I sold my Alias, it went for a damn low price even with the ups, but then I bought an A-Bomb at wholesale and if and when I go to sell it, I will make a lot more. With the DM4, it shoots nicer or the same as DM5, and it's perfect for me, and the price was considerably lower than a DM5, so DM4 it was.

why not consider the EGO, or a timmy, or a e2cocker? all have fast ROF's and perform extremely well. and cost the same

Spyderlover120
01-19-2005, 04:41 PM
alright i didnt expect this many posts thanx but my friend/team mate is pretty set on the dm5s and flys hes not a fan of cockers or shockers (hes tried theme dont worry) and timmys just arent his type of style hes leaning towards the dm5 right now but hes still debating between himself

btw: thanks downfall i thought so to :)

Ghost2867
01-19-2005, 10:15 PM
between those two, i would honestly tell him to choose the cheaper one.

if he's tried them both, and likes them both, just get the one that'll save u some money.

they both perform around the same...honestly, its not enough to turn a decision completely imo.

Used DM4 with basically what Juvey has on his or a DM5. Listen to them when they say that a used DM4 is a hell of a deal. You can get them for what you could get an older Timmy for and they absolutely blow one of them away.
