Whats a good upgrade for the Bushmaster B2K? I have Dye Stickies and a drop forward, but I'm wondering what else to get.

Get a new trigger and spring or a grip frame.

well first definately get a new barrel. i think a good upgrade is the vapor mod, they rebuild your gun and tune everything and do some trigger work. and also a new reg is a good upgrade . . . there are alot of good upgrades . . . i could go on for a page, but i wont ;)

I order of importance.

Lapco Reg Adapter
New Reg (vigilante or comparible)
Vapor Mod
SONIC LPR gauge (if you dont know how to set the LPR reg right GET IT!!!!)
Barrel
Bolt
Trigger [job or frame] (I dont suggest it though - not needed)

why do you have the barrel so far down the list? i think it should be the first upgrade . . .

if you do the reg and vapor mods, a stock barrel is suprising on accuracy. I'd rate it up there with a semi cheap pirces barrel

Yeah Barrel is first on almost any gun. I would change the reg probably last.
A trigger or frame with more tension will increase rate of fire for most people. A new valve, Vapor work and maybe an LPR will make it run at a lower pressure, which will make less kick, and more consistantly. Only then would I get a new reg.
On a budget with a stock bushmaster Id probably only buy a frame, valve, barrel, reg and send it for vapor work.

i'd go for the new barrel first. then do the vapor mod. after that the hpr and lpr will work just as well as any aftermarket regs.

before you send in your gun do some research on triggers and frames to see if you want the vapor trigger. also check if you can see a lot of light between your bolt and breech of your gun (look from the back w/ barrel off) to see if the vapor bolt would be helpful. i would suggest getting the vapor valve while you have your gun away.

so play with your gun a bit first, see what you like and what needs work, spend some time at the chrono checking out consitency, and try and shoot as fast as you can to see if you like the trigger. check if your hopper fits snuggly in your feed tube.

this way when you send your gun to goldie he can install everything you want/need. it will be a painless one stop full upgrade and you will love your bushmaster from that point on and not need anything else.

it's really not worth getting your gun vaporized after you have on a bunch of aftermarket parts because those won't be changed.

so do one or the other, doing both is useless.

i say reg first then barrel. Bushys are crap at the chrono stock. Mine was +- 14 out of the box untill i put a Stabilizer on it. Then the groupings were much better.

Like i said earlier. Everyone suggests a barrel first. Get a vapor mod and see how much better shooting with the stock barrel is. Then try different regs. or vice versa. I did my regs first, then had a vapor polishing job done, stock barrel was decent then.
