Whats the worst weather uve used ur imp in?
I was told that one cant play in cold weather w/ an imp running on C02, becuz the c02 melts into liquid and will damage the electronics.
Thanks
how does C02 melts to liquid????
but i use a remote. Me and my friends gona play after christmas.
At the Chicago NPPL this year, we played in a down pour all day--it was also cold and nasty. We had no board problemes in the Impulses-- we hd lots of paint problems-- but that has nothing to do with the gun.
We play year round outside. One of the guys on the team still uses CO2 (he has a big CO2 tank and refuses to get rid of it and get N2) In praticing for Madi Gras last year we were playing 3 times a week just and the temps went down to single didgets We had no board problemes however we did loose a solnoid in one gun- not a big deal- and I can't realy say it had anything to do with the cold

I was also wondering if using CO2 in cold weather would have any negative affects on the marker.
I was told that C02 would freeze in my gun, and then turn into a liquid, which would ruin the electronics.
Thanks

Never used the CO2 in Imp yet, but it does havoc to my spyder. Everything freezes inside the gun and the gun starts shooting 450-470 fps and nothing I can do to bring it down. Except putting it under the car heater, which explodes the orings and chamber ball breaks occur. So..... the bottom line is... if you can upgrade to air, if you play in cold weather. After seeing all the hell breaking loose with my SPyder, I will NOT put CO2 on my Imp, no way no how! No matter what anyone says :P
