So I am semi new to the impulse and I bought a bunch of upgrades for mine, and like a moron I decided to do it my self instead of having a proshop do it. So now I have a leak and I am wondering if I screwed something up..

When I screw in my tank the gun works (it shoots) but it leaks like mad thru the blow off hole in the cradle. Its like something is blocking the air and not allowing it to get in. It worked with the old parts but when I installed all the new stuff it leaks. What is makeing it leak? For what its worth I put all new internals in it and a Palmers regulator on the front of it. Do I need to adjust the pressure on the reg or is it something else?

Please help. I have a game tommrow and I need this to work.

try turning your pressure down then see what happens and pm me with the results.

impyguy is riht try turning you input pressure down to around 140-160

and it all depends on what ups you got if u bought a ram housing kit then you just probly made a faulty installtion same thing wiht a new front cap or lpr kit.

and make sure you have paint in your chamber because the impulse operates stricktly off of backslide and recock presure and if there sint a paintball in the chamber your bolt will motion forward when you fire your gun and dely when comeing back or stay up the neck of your chamber because there is no back pressure from a paintball.

but if your not dryfiring and you have confidence in the parts you installed then bring it to your local proshop to take a look at it,who knows you might have a blowned solenoid or a ripped coilspring in your reg or it might just be a dented o-ring, but i advise you to just let your boy behind the counter handle it

well if you dont have a tapeworm, get one. that solves the dry fireing issue. if its coming out of the asa where the tank goes in, and nowhere else, then it cant be the internals. did you get a new asa? check the o-ring on your tank. are you sure its not leaking anywhere else? and by the way, when you were installing your ram and stuff (if you got one) did you lock tite the hammer on? (that wouldnt cause a leak, but if you werent sure what you were doing i just want to make sure. because if you didnt the hammer could come off in your gun. )
