There really aren't many differences in paintball guns when it comes to woods/speedball. Obviously speedball you want a faster paintball gun, but it's not a necessity. Your Spyder should work well enough for both.

It doesnt really matter which marker u get for the course. U just dont want to have like an 18" barrel on a speedball course.... Trust me you will get laughed off the course. U actually dont really need a long barrel for speed ball because its mostly close quarters..So I agree with the dude before me....was this a useless thread?

for speedball, get a brass egale talon

for woodsball, get a brass eagle blade

2 high end markers that are a lil expensive, but will take u far

make sure you get 45 rd. hoppers and not 47. a 47 rd. hopper is way too much and too heavy

also, you want a 15 psi co2 tank. make sure you buy a good veloctiy for your gat!

your welcome and have a great day, cya at the field with your pwning newbie cannon

Knock off the sarcastic comments. :finger: Not appreciated in a newbie forum.

If you guys can't be helpful to the newbies asking for advice, don't post here. :pissed: GOT IT?!?!

Now to answer your question, Aubzup71, go with the best marker that your budget allows. An Imagine will work just fine for you on a speedball field as well as in the woods. I use my Intimidators in both places. I've also used spyders in both locations too. Just make sure to develop your skills and move effectively and I think you'll be fine.

I cant get over the brass eagle thing :jumping: :jumping:

yeah dude. the imagine is a great gun for either woods or speedball. but if u havn't bought a gun yet and if your willing to spend a lil more on one then maybe u should check out the dragun guns. maybe torid if you dont want anything special but its probably better than the imagine.heres the link to some draguns (http://www.odyssey.tv/products/index.html) and check out there ratings here on this site.
