Read the bottom first... Some of the parts I know of are:

Ebay body (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7128898442&ssPageName=MERC_VI_RSCC_Pr4_PcN__Stores)

RAM (http://www.actionvillage.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/DisplayProductInformation-Start;sid=8KGO_rV6-iKOk_SO09NOVr_cuJIKfljBBpw=?ProductID=k4isFAY75HsA AAD5fA9JBmGW)

Regulator (http://www.actionvillage.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/DisplayProductInformation-Start;sid=8KGO_rV6-iKOk_SO09NOVr_cuJIKfljBBpw=?ProductID=6pasFAY7zSwA AAD8wRvJWrji)

Valve (http://www.actionvillage.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/DisplayProductInformation-Start;sid=8KGO_rV6-iKOk_SO09NOVr_cuJIKfljBBpw=?ProductID=aKCsFAY7tmwA AAD3gvOlA_2s)

Ball detent (http://www.actionvillage.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/DisplayProductInformation-Start;sid=8KGO_rV6-iKOk_SO09NOVr_cuJIKfljBBpw=?ProductID=Hw6sFAY7bmwA AAD4hwXju4A2)

Trigger frame (http://www.pbreview.com/products/reviews/1783/)

WAS board (http://www.wickedairsportz.com/products/eqimp.htm#BM2)

Now I realize that I'm missing a few pieces (namely the solenoid). Anyone have any ideas where to purchase the solenoid?

Any help / suggestions would be much appreciated... I'm no expert on impulses (I have read the FAQ's and stuff though) but it surely seems possible to build one. Please name any parts that I'm missing... I think the trigger, bolt, valve / ram stem are some, but I'm in need of a little help on this one.

Thanks guys

Here is a complete list of parts if you buy that body:

Solenoid Screws (2x-come with solenoid)
Solenoid Gasjet (come with solenoid)
Solenoid (from www.airsoldier.com/will need to be directly wired to the circuit board unless you buy a plug from somewhere else-radio shack))
Eye Cover/Eye Screw/Circuit Board (buy a WAS board and ask Mr. Drew for a screw for the eye)
Ball Detents (one short, one long)
Trigger Frame* (if you buy a OTB frame, Ripper, Dynamix Frame, or stock frame, you will need to also get a solenoid tray from www.e-paintballoutlet.com)
Bolt
Bolt Pin
VA Screw and O-ring (buy from www.e-paintballoutlet.com or www.buypb.com)
1/8 NPT Plug/Set Screws (4x)
O-rings (all, look at manual; buy from www.buypb.com)
Screw Kit (all, look at manual; buy from www.buypb.com)
Grips for the grip frame
Inline Reg
Valve Set Screw w/ o-ring (buy from www.e-paintballoutlet.com or www.buypb.com)
Some sort of ASA for your tank
9v Battery

I think that's it

*If you buy a stock trigger frame, you will also need a trigger, two trigger pins, and two c-clips. I strongly suggest that you buy an AIM from www.buypb.com; they will make installation a lot easier, have a great pull, and make the gun, overall, about 1.5 inches shorts and a little smaller. If you get an AIM frame you also will not need a solenoid tray (saves you 40$).

Thanks! Sounds highly "do-able", and my parents like it when I build stuff myself.

Yeh, it's a lot of fun to build a gun yourself from scratch, and luckly for you, it is pretty easy to build your own impulse. THe only specialized skill you'll need is knowing how to solder. Good luck to you, and don't forget to post and tell us how it works when you're done!
