I have a 2000 bushmaster and i was trying to take the stock feedneck off and it would not come off i mean i took a wrench plyers you name it but it wouldnt come off i dont wanna break it off or bend it in putting so much pressure on it i was just wondering if anyone had this pronlem and what did they do or does it not come off on those models help would be nice thanks

oo wont heating it up with a blow dryer make it easier?? idk but give it a try..id take the bolt out..

i am having the same problem with my BKO. I made a thread a couple hours ago. Seems im going to need to go out and get a strap wrench.

Exactly, and I don't see how a pair of vice grips wouldn't take it off. If you don't really care about it anymore, just clamp the vice grips on it really good and twist really hard. A strap wrench would be good but make sure to get a nice one cause the cheap ones rip real easy.

a strap wrench has and adjustable rubber loop for getting thigs off they work great. and wont strip the paint

ive tride it all except the strapt wrench ive got plenty of man power im just worried if u use to much i will brake it off and them im screwed ive bent it in but the balls still fit through and i dont wanna brake it off or bend it incase i cant get it off so ill try the strap wrench

i called my proshope and he said were its a 2000 b2k bushy were its older and the thing as been in there so long it could be real tuff so just try and be carful cause if i take it them they will charge me cause they are dumb with helping out in that department

so go buy a strap wrench and take it off yourself

take the bolt out of the marker and heat it up a bit with a blow dryer on high. The older b2k's used red loctit around the feedneck and after sitting for so long can be a pain to get off. You will need to heat it around the threading for a bit til it gets hot then try getting it off with a strap wrench and you shouldnt have any issues.
