M98 for christmas...unfortunately didnt show up :(

Yeh, i got a M98 custom for christmas...from lowpaintballprices.com but only half the package came...the 200 paintballs, mask and tank. My dad told me he ordered it on the 15th of november and the packages passed the border to canada no problems...the 2 packages ended up in moncton..then only one was sent to montreal and that one made it here to newfoundland. Dad called USPS and they said they cant do much about it.. So what can i do...Wait another week see if it shows up, which i say it just got lost in all the christmas mail.

Dad was gonna call Lowpaintballprices again to get them to re-send the tippmann and add a little somthing, cuz hes pissed at them. I said add a drop forward. But anyways, wanted to know your thoughts on what i should do and if anyone ordered from Pirate paintball before.?

If the store shipped both packages together, then it's not their fault the shipping company lost one. Just call the store and ask them to run a trace on the package. They may be willing to ship you a replacement in the mean time, but most likely they'll want to give UPS (or whoever shipped it) a chance to find it.

another one is on its way, they threw in a bonus co2 gage with drop forward :) it should be here in 3-6 weeks.

Sorry to tell you, but you can't really gauge CO2. It's measured by weight since it's a liquid that expands to gas. By the time the gauge reads low, you'll be down to your last shot or two. I suppose it was nice of them to include something though.

Well i have not actually saw one in person and i wasnt to sure on how they work but i figured it showed how much co2 was in the bottle.


And it takes 3-6 weeks i spose cuz of the far distance from texas to newfoundland, canada. Well first when the package was ordered it arrived here on the 20th or something of december, and was ordered 15th of november. But only half the package came

They don't show how much co2 is in the bottle, they show the output pressure of the co2.

Customs is a peice of crap, they wont let my gun through. They called dad this morning at work saying the gun is at the border....He also got a 75$ bill for the package that didnt show up. He said that he never recieved the package and ...bla bla... so....dad told customs to send it back to shipper cuz hes not paying $75+$75 for those packages. Anyway looks like i aint getting a TIPPMANN!! This really pisses me off...

Why the hell didn't you just buy your gun local you'd get better service.. Or atleast buy it from Canada... I got mine for christmas cuz my parents got it local and the guy has frigging awesome service... And if your only paying 75 buck for the gun it must be used or a fake you can't get a new real one for that price.. Those are my thoughts... By the way of from Nova Scotia.

its $75 in taxes and brokerage tax, that happened to me when i ordered from xpaintball.com, that is added to the gun price plus the shipping.

I didnt order locally cuz we only got walmart, canadian tire,and a crappy paintball store...the best they sell is the viewloader genesis or some brass eagle crap....at least now all the guys i play with will be awwing my gun..The best i ever seen this way was a suped up spyder 2000 who my friend put 700$ into...still not the best performance. I also needed a gun that is durable and performs well in cooler climate....and i heard the tippmann M98C does that.....BTW the order is going through air this time...it should be here in a week.

Still havent recieved my Tippmann.... I want it SOOO bad, and i want to order the J&J ceramic 14 inch (12" sold out) for $28.50, cant tell you where;)(they might sell out of the 12".) But I cant order the barrell until I get the gun says dad... Hope to get the gun by friday...I hope

Isn't there a small section in a walmart type store that carries the better XTS's? Or is that Clarenville?

Model98s are great but they aren't better than a Compact with $700 into it. Maybe with a few upgrades but it sounds like you mean stock.

There is also a store in St. Johns that has okay prices. www.paintball.ca and look for stores...should show a link.

thanks, i'm hoping to get it next week, but the xts? well the best gun walmart or any store here in corner brook sells is the Viewloader Genesis. And well 2 of my friends have that, the second best would be the BE Avenger and the raptor, another 2 of my friends have those markers...So ain't much to choose from. The best gun I seen here is me buddie Matts spyder 2000 with 700$ put into it, but still I dont really like the performance..So i ordered the Tippmann, now I hope i'll have the top marker here for a while. Other then the Deer lake fellers, they got some good markers I hear. I think they got a few pirahnas. I want to get a big tournament on the go this spring.

ull like the tippmann custom i have it its nice i used a jj ceramic and i broke it while playing it was my friends unfourtanetly but he didnt care he hated it to i think u should go with a bye boomstick if u have the money or a armson ssr if u want a cheaper one lapco bigshot
