chopping with was?

so i got imp out and rolling with my new was board...im impressed

anyways i am having some serious chopping, not breakinbg chopping (i know its chooping because i had to take out the chopped part of shell)

i want to know why

i dont think it is the paint, its quality been in a dry clean place

it might have something to due with my reloader b i took it apart and everything looks ok

my bolt is good and clear and my ball detents are new ndz ones.

i know the eye works good it falshs when a ball is in the chamber eye senitvity is at 7 (just set it)

MY velocity is 280 dwell 7 and presure my lpr is set accordingly

i dont have any other ideas can i have some input any help is appreciated

p.s. The funny thing is that my gun just got out of the shop with a soleiniod leak (gasket was bad)

Make sure that after you have chopped to take the eye cover off and clean the eye off......cuz the eye will think there is a ball in the breech if there is paint on it.

My other suggestion.....since you live in K'zoo, Michigan, which is just North of me I would suggest taking it to either R&S Paintball on D Ave. or to Hole In The Wall on West Main. (If you have any questions about either place just drop me a PM and I will respond ASAP)

try cleaning the eye after a break. if that doesnt work, what eye mode are you using, and what is your BIP delay.

i have the ndz bolt i dont think it is reflective (ive read the thread on this) its in eye mode 1 and the bip delay is still deflaut

ill try and clean it when i get home (im at school now) i have a feeling and only a feeling that it isnt that but i could be wrong

i jsut cleaned my eye and what do you know chopped. I have another idea. I think it might be my hopper, even tho i have two (empire b & eggII). I was looken through the paint and a ball was broken in the bag. Now where the location of the paint in my gun is it makes me think that its is hopper-paint. The paint is alot in the feed neck of the gun and hopper. there is some in the hopper itself. It looks like something like that i dont have any other i deas. I might pick up another case and see. Does this concept make anysense to anyone I know it seems alittle weak. Its all i got

oh oh oh i know. have you installed your baord correctly. have you filed down the eye hole completely and sharpied the filed area? because sometines you dont file it down all the way and WAS reads the blockage and not the baintball because it cant see the paintball. so you chop because your vision isnt working correctly. if this is not the case, sheck the sire inside the gun. WAS used three wired instead of that SP tape stuff. i have found when putting the grip frame back on, the wires can get between teh body and tray really easily. when you are screwing your grip frame/tray back on you might be cutting that wire without even knowing it. if this is not the case, are you setting your eye sensitivy correctly? with the black ND bolt your baord should only blink 1 time a second with NOTHING in the breach. this is the mode you want for a black nd bolt. for a white reflective bolt, you want your green light to blink 2 times a second with NO paint in the gun.

its funny cause i just thought of not fileing it down enough, i checked it out it looks ok but i think i might try fileing it alittle more.
I have it blinking once with no ball in breach, i dont think it is the eye sensitivty but just in case what is a good senstiveity witht he black ndz bolt
Thanks for tje feed back i worked on my gun for an hour and a half without fixing it, its getting very frustrating. Ive done everything i can think of even though half i know have nothing to do with it.

mahbe there is a chance ou got a lemon. it happens with even the best stuff sometimes. WAS has a lifetime worranty, maybe you can get a new baord.

did you check to see if your board can "see" your bolt?

did you check to see what eye mode you're in?

are you letting your halo "run dry", sometimes the last ball will "slingshot" down the feed neck and break on top of the bolt or on the bottom of the chamber?

Why did you adjust your eye sensitivity?

i didnt check to see if it could see ym bolt bnut i had hread people saying it doesnt see the ndz bolt.

im in eye mode one one of the first things i checked

no, im not letting my empire "run dry" i tested it with two hoppers just to be safe.

I took out the eye and checked the stuff i ran out of air though so ill have to see if it works, if it doesnt im going to call w.a.s. and seee what they say

Why did you change your eye sensitivity?

If your Equalizer bolt from NewDesignz is white it will most likely be seen from the stock eye setting of "10".

BUT YOU NEED TO CHECK IT. YOU HAVE THE ABILITY, DON'T GO BY SOME RUMOR YOU HEARD.

UPDATE

First my bolt is black, and not reflective checked already.

Second, i got more aira and different paint and filied it down more and changed my battery end result=NO CHOPS

dont know the exact reason buit im happy with the no chops--very happy
