i got my 32 degrees impy today. i gassed it up and the stupid thing started leaking. I pushed the button on the pro connect, then saw that the pressure was at 220 psi. it set the reg way down and tried again. no leaks. I had already screwed around with the trigger so i went out to shoot. fast fast fast. I broke a ball in the breach, and it was not from my loader. by the way, the trigger was so short i accidentlly shot myself in the hand (ouch, i wore a mask though). So, i had about 1000 psi left in the tank so i bummed so paint from my friend. When i shot it i broke about one in twenty balls. None of these had been chopped by the bolt, they had just been broken when the gun fired, before they when into the barrel. I aslo noticed that that odd noise you hear when dry firing was coming out. What is the problem? Do I need to set the dwell? Do i need to set the reg? Does this happen when you are low on air? Keep in mind i shot zap and team colors, and they were fresh. I oiled the WHOLE gun just about an hour ago (the bolt, the hammer, the valve (easy stuff)). So what might be wrong???

Your input psi shouldn't go above 200 run the reg at 180 Originally posted by seanblink182

Screwin around with your trigger or your ROF pot can turn your marker into a blender, Breakin paint can be a result of inproper pressure and incorrect dwell settingsEspecially a "tweaked" ROF pot! Was this bummed paint fresh as well? What kind of noise? Give us a little more info!Originally posted by seanblink182
I oiled the WHOLE gun just about an hour ago (the bolt, the hammer, the valve (easy stuff)). So what might be wrong??? Please don't tell me you used "OIL"? It will VOID your warranty! And hurt your Imp! Dow-33 is the only kindda lube your marker should see. You also don't need to lube the hammer itself only the O-rings and shaft require lube. You'll also need to get your hands on a chrono to set the pressure and dwell correctly, then it's a balance between the two to obtain the perfect harmony, Which in turn will make that Impy Scream!
