Shrapnel??

Who in here has used shrapnel paint? Ive recently found these at a military store that sells paintball stuff and they are only 30 bucks for 2000! Is it because they suck or have i found a deal?

I've used it, To my understanding it is just another repack of Big Ball. It works good for Rec or practice. Make sure you store it properly, I left mine in the trunk of my car when the temp was pretty low and had massive chops. But after awhile they did just fine.

Best way to do it, buy em and try em. I plan on buying another case and testing them with 32* carbon fiber and Lapco Bigshot barrles, to see how they shoot.

i bought a case, mine was seconds of all stars, it made it out the barrlel with out breaking and seemed to be in good condition , not much more to ask from a case i only gave 25 bucks for. aka great for practiseing. I think its just batches that did meet with rps's high standards for there paint.

when i started paintball thats what i used...they are good for the price but dont use them in a tournament or anything like that...just use them to shoot around and stuff...they arent very consistant in roundness but they are good for the price

i just used them today or paintballing and i didnt like them, the werent always round and didnt fit my bore rite :(

I bought some a couple weeks ago, and also didnt like them. Not all of them were round. And my batch was very brittle and I chopped a lot of them WITH my ACS bolt :(. A lot also broke in my barrel.

i had just recetnly bought some of these to try them out and,they arent all round like msot of u say,what will that do and also some of the balls have flat spots,what is that gonan do as well,is this gonan cause tons of chopping?

Yeah, that means you're going to get lots of breaks. And Shrapnel is pretty much what PMI had left over thrown into a vat to make some cheap balls mainly for practice.

these balls are like just a little bit too small for my barrel,not really tho but still not perfectly sized,will that still cause lots of breaks or will the bolt chop the balls

If they are a bit small, it's not a huge deal, but it doesn't have anything to do with chopping, that's mainly due to if you shoot faster than your hopper can load.

i used to use that, they kept breaking in my hopper causing my shots to go all over the place cuz my balls got wet.
