board question

my friend just got his impulse. it was used and the board has like a green and yellow light. the boards color is green and it has no eye. is this a amber board? what is it capable of?

The most common complaints about the "amber" boards is that the dwell pot switch often goes bad... making the adjustment of dwell nearly impossible.
