How does the freestyle compare compare to other higher end guns? Is it a gas hog? And I heard something about a Rocky Knuth board. Is this a rumor or what? I'm going to try to get a hold of one of these and shoot it, but for now I need some info from you great people.
And I had a bad experience with my bko...reg problems, consistency, and noid problems...The freestyle won't let me down will it? Because ICD has really left a sour taste in my mouth...

The gas efficiency should be fixed by the HE bolt.
The NOX flash reprograms your stock board. It's $25 with return shipping included. I haven't done it, but it sounds worth it.

What exactly will be in the higher model? And is the only difference between the 04 and 05 the milling? Is one lighter or more compact than the other?

Oh woops. The only difference between 05's and late 04's is milling. From early 04's, 05's have HE bolt, new board, and the gen 2 frame.
We don't know about the gun in March yet...

Says who???:)
The FreeStyle is a major step up from a BKO. If you had a BKO and had issues with it then I can understand you disappointment but I would ask if those problems you had are any different to another marker in this same price range??
The FS is truely a new beast when it comes to markers from ICD. It is a blow forward style marker that is extremely fast. It will outpreform any other marker currently produced by ICD and will hang with out leave behind any other high end marker on the market at this time. The only thing the FS doesnt have is a great shot count. The current FS's with the HE bolt kit are getting somewhere between 1100-1300 shots per 68/45 fill. This is pretty good but there are several high end markers that get higher counts. Now if you take into consideration the shout count and then figure how much paint that is to carry onto the field at one time I think you will see that the FS really isnt to bad when it comes right down to it.
The FreeStyle like any other marker will give you problems if not taken care of properly. There is a minimal amount of maintainence that is required but if it isnt preformed the marker will not function at is best. The basics are lubing of the regs and the bolt assembly on a monthly basis.
Rocky's boards arent availible at this time. The only thing you can get from him presently is the NOX Flash. He is suppose to be releasing the actual board in the very near future. The NOX flash has superior eye logic and speed when compared to any other board presently availible for the FS. I would highly recommend this upgrade.
If you have any further questions let us know.

Alright Thanks. Any idea of when Rocky's board will be out? Would my money be better spent on the NOX or just to wait and buy Rocky's board. Also, what do you know about the new FS?
