I am planning to get an Evil Omen soon.. I have heard a lot of stuff about the newer models having less trigger slop or flush cocking or somethings else. The point is, what can I expect for an Omen I purchase this year (2005 for those of you with no knowledge of the world around you) mainly in terms of anything the evil website excludes in its description. What do the newest models have?
Also, when are some evil upgrades coming out? I heard of a lowrise, couple new guns.. any dates?

evil released the info about halo compatible and more recock friendly cam arms, as well as the evil board 1.5 which has adjustable debounce n the fun stuff like it says on the evil web site www.evil-paintball.com but neither have been available to the public yet both are the next best thing for the omen.
btw i have an omen for sale if your interested jus pm me
the other guns, the minion, heathen and avatar, are still being worked on, the minion being the current project, but the omen will still be the least expensive, or so ive been told
sorry i couldnt tell ya ab the 05 omens, spartan or mauikolohe or omenworker could help ya on that one

it performs very very well, probably the best value 4 the money ive seen, adjustable trigger is nice, im very picky about mine the only downfall is the recock, which u have to adjust usually everytime u take it out to play, not every game or nething its not that bad it jus takes some time 2 get used to, once u get good at it its not hard ive used mine 3 times n i got it down already, the cam arms are a very ingenious anti chop mechanism as well, very solid marker, but the best part is evil, the best customer service ive ever had, my hammer o-ring broke, i called, they send me a new one, i had it in a week, u cant beat something like that

In looking for the model Omen that has less trigger slop, the Omens with the Black triggers Vs the Silver triggers have less slop. Evil used Magnesium over alum becuase it's lighter, stronger and they made the fit tighter to take slop out.
In a few weeks I'm guesing evil will start includin gthe new Cam arms and Evil Board stock. This will allow you to use a Halo, warp, or Q-loader if your wish. The 1.5 board will also allow you do keep up with any marker out there in the field, both legally and Illegally.

Yes, The Omens trigger is NOT Plastic. It's made out magnesium just like the high performance sports cars use for their engines. It's very light and strong......but it's also flamible...
