Just play like you would playing recball. Dont expect to win the tourny let alone all of your games. Just have fun and dont worry about losing. Its your first tourny and you will learn a lot.

Experienced players will prolly give you a few pointers on your playing style. I learned a lot in my first tourny and hopefully you will to. Have Fun.

Most the time for local tournys it depends completely on the number of teams playing.

In the last tourny I played they had 6 teams per division round robin style so each team played a minimum of 5 games. Then the finals were the top two teams in each division playing round robin against each other for another 3 games before the Championship was decided on points.

oh so it's not like 2/3 games against a team moves you to the next round and so to the finals (Bracket)

Thats just how the tourny I played in was.

Different tournys will have different ways of advancing a team closer to the finals and then into the finals.

a lot of the feilds around me for tounys play center flag. And u get points for misc. things, such as kills, deaths, scoring with the flag and who grabs it first, ect.

Basic Rule of Tournament Play:

Get the Rules, and Learn the Rules before submitting entrance fees.

All I can suggest.
