I got this idea from the blade that I saw posted on here. What if they released models of guns with Integrated hoppers. Like an A4 would have a built in egg. This would look ugly and wear the batterie unless it was run by a seperate battery. But it would lower your profile and each hopper would be set for the guns ROF. Thoughts? Pictures of what you think? Im in the process of making one right now. Now the hoppers wouldnt hold as much paint as they usually do so thats a con to.

Integraded loader, as in the loader is built into the marker and is made specifically for the marker.

It's just an idea, he's not trying to put them into production or anything. Besides, we haven't had any good new threads in General Paintball talk for a while. It's actually a pretty good idea, it would just be hard to make it work well.
BTW - Lay off on the cussing unless you want the mods to be on your case. When you cuss it also makes people that much more ready to defend the person you cussed at, and therefore more ready to try to tear your points down. If you want to be respected, don't cuss, at least not on PBR.

why would you put an egg on an a4 in the first place?

I was actually thinking about this in class today, and something else, can't remember.
I like the idea alot better than that NPS gun.

Now I remeber the other thing: Some kind of eye or sensor attached to the gun/barrel that read the velocity and displayed it on an LCD screen, so you can adjust your gun from home. I know you could by a crono but I thought it'd be neat. I'd be kind like the VL ones, but less ugly and worked.
EDIT: Maybe it could programed to the field setting so if you start shooting hot it'd stop for a bit.

sounds like a high-end version of the cyclone feed to me
Other than a lower profile there is no point. Why do I need my halo suck to my gun? I would have to take it off to clean it... Also it would make it harder to field strip.

I had an idea to kinda switch the top and bottom tubes of guns and make the hopper feedneck go into the gun (no more feednecks). I was bored and I don't like cheap feednecks. It wouldn't work anyway, just an idea though.

If you made the hopper the feedneck, it would work.

So what if you have a problem with the hopper? You wouldn't be able to fix it too easily or just switch to a different hopper. Plus you could never get a different hopper if you decided to you want something different. Original idea (kind of, BE thought of it first...), but there are too many problems to have to deal with IMO.

If the hopper was a threaded feedneck... oh nevermind.

Since your thowing out wild ideas... I just thought of this one, and you guys might enjoy it. Anywho, instead of having the hopper sit in the feedneck, it could be possible to elimate the feedneck by making the bolt pretty much exposed whenever you fire, and attach it somehow like that, in a way that the hopper would kinda go around the body and attach to the body in a way, or something like that. Just a thought.

Well, if it was integrated perhaps you could make clip like pods, possibly to fit into the hopper. In other words, the pod would be the paint holding part of the integrated hopper.
That would greatly increase reload time.

That sounds like an integrated q-loader, which wouldn't be a bad idea, though I'm not sure how that would exactly work. I'm having fun with this topic :jester:. I think my idea would be the most posible, but I'm most likely overlooking some obvious conceptual flaw. I actually was wondering if you could get a q-loader that sortof sat flat on the top of the marker like a tube on a stock class marker does.

Isn't that pod spring loaded though? I would imagine a better way would be a traditonally shapped hopper, just set up like a pod somehow.
something nasty

It's been done. Do a few searches for the Cyber 2000.
