new double trigger

today i got my double trigger and i went to go put it on and i noticed that you have to cut a notch in the grip.what kinda of knife or whatever should i use to cut the grip and how do i know where to cut and how much?

a sharp one, lol. sumthin like an exacto knife. how much=trial and error, cut a lil bit and see, if it's not enought cut summore.
