My neibor says that you can't shoot fast with a 98c flatline. Is this true and if it is is it also true wit ha A-5 Flatline?

Yes, Tippmann guns tend to be slower than most unless you put a RT or E-grip on.

As long as I am using the right paint, I can shoot my Flatline as fast as I want without problems.

I am no expert, but my friend who is obssesed with tippmans and woodsball has a tippman 98 with a flatline, and i asked him why not put a RT trigger on it he said the flatline cant handle fast rates of fire cause it will break lots of balls.

That setup would cause breaks for two reasons. First, if the rate of fire isn't set right, the bolt would chomp a lot. Second, if he isn't using a electronic hopper, it won't feed quick enough. The Flatline is a good barrel, but you must make sure the gun is shooting fine (rate of fire, feeding, velocity, etc). With mine, I can shoot pretty fast, and I don't break.

i jus got a 12v revvy and a blade d.trigger on my flatlined 98c, and it can fly (for a tippmann w/ no rt or anything)
