Is Odyssey going out of business?!?

I am continuing this thread using with the subjet "Is Odyssey going out of business?!?" to alert other buyers.

Today I tried to file a complaint with Paypal to get a refund from Odyssey. But it's been 40 days since I placed the order and it seems that Paypal's policy is that the claim must be filed within 30 days. If only Odyssey didn't string me along...


I don't trust Paypal either cause on their site it says it must be filed within 45 days:

"Check the date: All claims must be filed within 45 days of the transaction."

But my attempted claim status says this:
"As stated in the PayPal User Agreement, PayPal will only investigate complaints filed within 30 days of the original transaction date."

I am trying to contact Paypal to get a claification on this.

Otherwise, I'll try going through my credit card to get a refund.

well, this sucks because i received a disfunct 03m and i cant return it to the site i bought it from because it exceeds the 15 day warranty. I cant send it to odyssey either because they stopped making the 03m and no longer has the part i need to be replaced......i got nothin now :(


So are they actually going out of business or are they just not doing well financially?

this may have just been proshop rumor talk, but i heard that brass eagle bought them out. i can't really back that though so don't take my word for it.

This would mean that the same coporation is producing both halo B's and eggy II's. :eek: Wonder if any strange hybrid love child hopper would come out with break beam eyes of egg and speed of halo?

Thankfully, my credit card covers online purchases so I will be getting a refund through them.

I checked their online store today which uses PayPal and I tried to place an order just to see what would happen. This is what I saw:

"This recipient is currently unable to receive money."

I'm pretty sure odyssey is not going under, they just came out with the o3's, their halo b is still one of the best and selling so I think they are doing pretty well. Dragun on the under hand I'm pretty sure is going under. I don't know what all happened but they split and Dragun stuff is getting real hard to find and if you find it new (ebay) be careful, I think they're just trying to clean out their stuff so their just throwing it together and shipping it untested.

with all the recent legal crap i THINK (this is totaly IMO) dragun as a line is gonna get dumped by (insert company that builds the markers here) yeah i cant rember. I bet that we are gunna see the guns come back though under a differnt name and through another vendor, i wouldnt be surprised if above said company isnt already looking for sombody to tack their names on the dragun line and start seeling it.

yea i saw that too, all diablos gun are crap IMO (by crap i mean not worth the money) ... everyone's taking the T1 and T1 kit and making it their own... pisses me off

Who cares..................Dragun kicks odyssey's ***. If Diablo wants to make a new tes; there going to have to work harder than a one legged man in @ss kicking contest, to beat dragun.

I have called and e-mail to no avail.
Their 1-800 number is dead, their normal number is dead. Their e-mail gives me a bounce back from yahoo saying it's dead.

They are still there, at least they better be, they are supposed to be fixing my gun, although they were supposed to have fixed it last time I sent it in. But yeah you can't call or e-mail. Their not gone yet but I'm pretty sure their on their last leg as in someone, (one) goes by their shop every now and then. I'm also pretty sure their not still making guns just cleaning up what they got left.
