Halo secrets?

I've heard many of them. Golden warthog, secret rooms, blah blah.

So post what secrets/cheats you know of.

And no, I'm not going to go use these to my advantage on Live, cheating spoils allot of the fun, But it is fun just to play a custom party every once and awhile and just screw around.

To begin:


The Wraith launch

You need oversheilds, and a wraith. Find an almost vertical wall, and stand with your back against it crouching. Have someone with a wraith park right in front of you, then boost straight into them. You will go flying upwards, Occasionally hitting the level's ceiling so I hear.

Golden warthog=Modded XBOX, non existant. Was done by swapping colour pallets in the coding....

Lots of stuff.....soccer balls, super weapons, and skulls oh my!

The golden warthog does somewhat exist. Go to Headlong and look for a BIG poster on one of the walls, it has a advertisement for "The Hog" aka civilian warthog. You can also buy an action figure set that has The Hog. As far as one you can drive, idk anything about that.

I have heard that if you beat it on legendary you get another difficulty called mythic or mythic might be just one of the school names

Mythic is a skull that you can find....it improves the AI, accually it modifies the factors of the AI so they are a bit more aggressive, tougher, and have a better sense of were you are and working together.

I'm kinda confused on these skulls. When you collect them, do they always stay in effect for your profile regardless of the difficulty? Or how do you activate them

if you turn ur xbox off the effects of the skulls turn off

Foundation, king of the hill. Some one stands in the hill, you go down below them and shoot them with a rocket. it will hit the glass but it will kill them.

Coagulation(sp) you can grab the flag through the floors. you jump and hold X. You get the flag and leave. You can drive a tank or worthog up a wall. You can walk on the sides of the levels. there is a place that you can get through the roof but i don't know how.

Sword lock accross the map

duel swords

you can do alot of stuff with changing the distance on the sword lock on too.

Stand by.

I dont know how many of you guys have done it, But today I got ontop of the crane on Headlong for the first time. Pretty cool. I also got ontop of Foundation. :tup:

Me and my friends glitch all the time.

Stairway to Heaven
Map: Burial Mounds
Weapons: Swords and Rockets

Start off by having at least 2-3 people going to the place where the Beam Rifle is. There is a small ledge high up at the end of it if you are walking to the ribcage. Proceed to sword cancel and rocket glitch each other up to the ledge and the ledge above it. When you reach the part where it is flat again at the top, walk over to the edge of the map and look at the ledge to the right. Have a friend stand under it and jump straight up so you can sword cancel him. As soon as you are in the air, let go of the sowrd cancel buttons and hold backwards on the control stick (making sure your not accidently presssing it in). This should break the barrier, allowing you to jump over the ledge. If it doesn't, repeat until you get it right and have your friend do the same after. Walk all the way around the top of the level until you are just past the large structure in the corner of the level. Now look back at the structure you passed. Walk over to where the part of it closer to you hangs over the edge. Walk off the cliff at this point and just keep walking forward. Although there is nothing underneath you, you will keep walking up an invisible staircase very high above the level until you fall back onto the top of the the level.


Meteor Shower (not a glitch, but looks awsome)
Map: Headlong
Weapons: Brute Shot

Get a group of at least 7 people (the more the better) to stand on the liine where the broken highway ramp starts. Have everybody look at the small block above the staircase wwhere the oversheild is (on the edge of the water). Have everyone look straight up while still keeping their horizontal aim at the block. Now launch all the brute shots as fast as you can and either watch of run over to where the first flight of the first flight of stairs there ends. Look up and watch the brute shots come crashing down with tremendous force. For more fun, park vehicles at the meteor shower area and watch them get demolished in seconds!
