The best paint ive shot through my gun were RPS Marbalizers.
But, im experimenting with other kinds just in case, right now im trying winchester paintballs and they work pretty good!

Looks as if you're looking for something cheaper... so I'd say go for some Powerball. Get the pearl-ish colored shell, not the black. They're very consistent and accurate and the fill shows up VERY well, bright neon yellow. Just today I was shooting El Tigre and Powerball side by side, and trust me, the Powerball fill really shows up well.

By the way, three out of twenty is absolutely horrid. 3/20 is roughly 100 times (no exaggeration) worse than you should be getting.

I've been shooting Taso Powerball for sometime. There has been lots of times I've used a whole case without any breaks. I'm not saying it's the best type of ball, but it's good for it's price.

I hear that Marbalizer is great. Shoots good and shell is nice and firm.

I have used alot of kinds of paint,,,not alot of the marbs and all stars. The best paint I have ever used is PMI Premium. My friends and I play every weekend. We have went through countless cases of this stuff. We never run into ball breakage. For instance,, last weekend my friend bought a TL plus, and bought a half case (1000), went through them all and then some,, and did not break one ball...good stuff!!!!

My friend once bought PMI preminum paint and when he was loading them into his hopper he noticed some where square and all mishaped and he showed me how they shot and they flying everyway besides the way he was shooting.

I'm using Team Colors now, and they seem to be working great. I think i had 2 breaks out of 1000 that I shot so far. Not bad compared to some other paint that I was using. I have been really pleased with their accuracy and seem to break pretty well on target. I haven't had that many bouncers.

Sneak Preview: Direct Hit Paintballs 3-27-01 action pursuit games by jonathan berstein editor.

Your ezine editor was one of the first to order and try the new
"Direct Hit" paintballs from http://www.paintballgeek.com, but was very
skeptical about the company's claims -- that this small-medium bore,
VERY sticky and hard-to-wipe paint is, at under $40 per case
retail, good paint. The case of paint had 2,000 balls; the
shell was pink/purple and the fill was pink, thick and pasty.
It doesn't wipe into fabric.

In the trial, about 200 balls were shot through each of three
markers (Bushmaster BM2K2, Epic and Piranha), using three
different barrels (Dye Excel, 32 Degree Carbon Fiber, Piranha stock).

There were no ball breaks. At approx. 60 feet, through all barrels
and markers, at slow fire and rapid fire, the paint consistently
stayed in about an 8-12 inch circle, with all indications being
that the differences were attributable to the marker/barrel
combinations versus the paint.

If you've tried this paintball, let us know how it performed for you,
what marker you used, and what color shell/fill you shot. Email
jonathan@actionpursuitgames.com.

In my opinion any kind of RPS made paint is really good, you just have to find the one that goes good with your set-up
