When field stripping your gun, lots of people get thumbe screws so it is easier to take their gun apart. How much do they actually need to take apart to clean there gun? All i usually clean is the barrel, inbetween games. At home I will take apart some more or do it better. But what else do you clean, unless your gun got hit?

Alot of people clean the bolt and hammer and relube it, that's usully what field stripping refers to, but it's a pretty loose definition

i think thatsn a unneccessary. Usually the barrel is all that is affected. If you chopped a ball than you need to clean the bolt and lube the upper chamber. Thats the case with my spyder se, i dont know about shutters, mabey yours is a little different..
