2005 chaos board?

Does anyone know if they're are plans for a 2005 chaos board? I was planning on buying a 2k4 but decided to wait incase a new one was coming out. Does anyone also know when it is set to come out and will it be different?

I have heard that Goldie has a new chaos board in the works but nothing beyond that. It may also just be for the freestyle I am not sure.

the guy i bought my marker from thinks there's a 05 chaos board on my marker.

The 2005 Chaos board will be the same as the 2004 as far as hardware goes, I think. as far as I know goldie has 2 things coming out.

one is a freestyle Chaos board

The other is a version 3 (V3) Chaos software update. Supposedly it'll have a bunch of cool updates to the board's software. I think it'll have a revised and streamlined version of vaporworks' new 15bps ramping mode amoing other things. It'll come on new Chaos boards, but for ppl with older Chaos boards they'll be able to download the V3 for their boards using a V-link.

So if you are thinking about getting a V-link with it, then you'll be fine to get a 2004 board right now since you'll be able to get the updates later.

Thanks for the info. I'll probably go with the 2005 just so I'll have it already updated. But no one knows when it will come out?

nope no clue but i think it willbe out in july or august

I emailed vaporworks with my question and this is what they told me.

- We are working on the new board right now. They should be ready by the middle of March.
