Which loader for b2k5?

I pre-ordered my b2k5 today! Can't wait! I have the egg II, originally bought anticipating for the 05 BKO...but since I obviously changed my mind...

Will the egg II be sufficient for the b2k5? The specs aren't even close! 19 bps loader vs a 30 plus bps gun? How will that work? Will that present an issue or just that I won't be able to shot as fast? Some advice would be appreciated! Thx!

Also my buddy got the same gun and he has a new v12 revy loader...will that be ok with the b2k5. Are there mods to make the egg II and v12 revy faster? Thx.

just cause the B2K5 is capable of shooting 30bps doesn't mean you are.

You shouldn't expect to be shooting any faster on your B2K5 than you would on a BKO. They both have the same triggers, so you will be able to shoot equally fast on both guns. The higher maximum rof on the B2K5 shouldn't matter much for all practical purposes since you probably cannot even hit the max rof on a BKO (that's not meant as an insult. I know I can't hit 18bps with the stock board, and I can't on the Chaos board either unless it bounces a bit. If you can, then I wish I had your trigger fingers).

Anyway, the Egg will be ok. You'll have PDS so you won't chop, and it should keep up alot of the time. However, the Halo would be the best hopper to use. I know quite a few ppl who bought Eggs because their guns had eyes, but then they ended up getting Halos anyway cause they were missing shots with the Egg.

Edit:the Revy will not be even close to fast enough. Your friend will have a very sad Bushy:(

Thx guys for the advice! The halo b is so expensive compared to the eggII...i guess you are right...my fingures won't be able to shoot that fast anyways...lol...

I outshot a regular egg with my bko. I needed zboard for it, but now I never outshoot it.

Lotus is so smart, I just love his posts... now that being said, the z-boarded egg will be good, though the halo b/reloader b will be faster. Question is is it worth the weight and price for the 3 - 5 extra bps that most of us can't pull anyway?

the great thing about the 05 b2k and even the 05 bko is they both are comming with eyes, which will allow you to get what hopper you can afford at that time and still be able to play without worrying that you may outshoot your hopper and chop. What you and your friend have are both just fine, will both of you want to upgrade down the line to a halo or reloader b? Maybe but thats for you guys to decide, right now there is no need to drop money on a new hopper though til you decide that you need to.

zboarded egg works fine......i do miss shots tho because of bb.....but only when im hitiing 11-13+ Im getting a bolt and chaos when my tank sells.
